PLANNING ENFORCEMENT

Any owner or occupier may innocently fall foul of planning legislation. Professional advice at the outset is imperative to ensure the owners interests are safeguarded and the most favorable solution achieved.


OBJECTIONS TO PLANNING PROPOSALS

This may arise where a Planning Authority is making changes to its development plan which are detrimental to an owners interests may be in respect of a nearby planning application.

LISTED AND OTHER HISTORIC BUILDINGS

Separate from planning control all physical works (including some repair works) to a listed building require consent. Unauthorized works may be a criminal offence. Where any works are proposed to a listed building professional advice must be taken before any are carried out. Proposed physical alterations or a change of use are a very sensitive issue.
