We provide a comprehensive service on all issues relating to planning matters and separate legislation governing listed buildings. We are normally able to provide a comprehensive service and prepare all documentation including surveys and structural condition of an existing building; designs for the proposed development or change of use; and all other plans and documentation. PRELIMINARY PLANNING ADVICE

Planning legislation tightly controls the extensions new building works and changes of use. Nevertheless some areas remain tree of planning control. Preliminary planning advice establishes
whether planning consent is needed; the form of development most appropriate; and the prospects of success.

PLANNING APPLICATIONS

These may range from modes home or business extensions to mixed use development in City centers or intensive agricultural development. In conjunction with our building survey services we can advise our client's upon issues arising from the proposed development; the prospects of success; and normally prepare all documentation to support the application.

PLANNING APPEALS

Our success rate over the past five years has consistently been over 80%. Following a planning refusal we advise on the prospects of success; the type of appeal most appropriate; and in appropriate cases the further negotiation with the Planning Authority would be appropriate.
Dependant upon the nature of the appeal we are able to prepare all evidence or in appropriate cases recommend specialist professional disciplines.
